In a not-so-distant past, writing an essay about cannabis likely would’ve landed most students in hot water. But as we start to enter a post-prohibition era, cannabis can provide a world of opportunity.

In this episode of A Tech Moment, Anthony Dutcher, CMO at Veriheal, joins Cannabis Tech to discuss the success of their second annual cannabis scholarships program. In 2020, Veriheal’s Cannabis Innovation Scholarship program began awarding $1,000 to students for their winning cannabis essays. Repeating the program in 2021, Veriheal just provided another 20 students with the award.

  • American Cancer Society
  • American Liver Foundation
  • Alzheimer’s Association
  • Tourette Association of America

During the interview, Dutcher mentions a few other programs they are proud to be involved in and explains why cannabis businesses are particularly inclined to do more for their communities.
