Berlin Living Soil Developer Wins “Best New Autoflower 2026” at the Autoflower World Cup.
Steffen Gehre of Living Terps Berlin cultivated Bud Voyage’s award-winning “Gummy Juice Auto” — later released under the name “Voyager” — in a self-developed biologically active Living Soil system.
Berlin, Germany, [18.06.2026] — A Berlin-based Living Soil developer is drawing international attention in the cannabis cultivation scene: Steffen Gehre, founder of Living Terps Berlin, won 1st place in the category “Best New Autoflower” at the Autoflower World Cup 2026.
The winning entry was Bud Voyage’s genetics “Gummy Juice Auto”, which was cultivated by Gehre during its test phase before the strain was later released under the name “Voyager”. The plant was grown in a self-developed Living Soil substrate designed by Living Terps Berlin.
The Autoflower World Cup is one of the specialized international competitions for modern autoflower genetics. Entries are evaluated on quality-relevant characteristics such as appearance, aroma, sensory impression, and overall flower quality. In the category “Best New Autoflower”, the entry grown by Steffen Gehre secured 1st place.
What makes this win particularly noteworthy is the cultivation method behind it. The awarded grow was not produced with a conventional mineral feeding program, but in a biologically active Living Soil system. Living Terps Berlin develops living substrates based on organic long-term nutrient sources, mineral buffering components, humic substances, mycorrhizae, Trichoderma, and beneficial microorganisms.
“For me, this award is more than a trophy. It shows that high-quality cannabis cultivation does not necessarily depend on synthetic mineral feeding systems.
