The EVRI electric dab straw by Dip Devices is a multi-function hand-held device designed for complete vaporizer versatility. The battery works with several evolving attachment options. I received attachments for 510 cartridges, flower, and concentrates, but it’s easy to keep adding new options, from a nectar tip to a glass attachment to a pod-compatible attachment.
With an easy click-on battery back, this device is specifically designed to evolve with each session without needing a shelf full technology. Priced at $69.99 for a starter pack and with each additional attachment only $19.99 more, this is one of the most affordable and versatile vaporizers on the market today.

Key Features
Multi-Function
Above all else, the EVRI from Dip Devices is versatile. This little device can hit everything from wax to flower to that old 510 cartridge you’ve been meaning to use up. With every new attachment just $19.99, you can build out a full kit for under $100.
There are few other portable devices on the market that can effectively jump from one product to another with just one click — especially at this low price point.
Lightweight
Need something lightweight to throw in your pocket while heading out on errands? This is the EVRI. Besides a straight-up vape pen, this is one of the lightest vape pens on the market today and definitely one of the lightest electric dab straws.
Vapor Tip Atomizer
The Vapor Tip Atomizer is a convenient, mess-free way of loading your next dab without filling a chamber or pulling out the full dab rig, torch, nail, and all the other miscellaneous accessories typically involved. Instead, once the device has successfully heated, the tip gets placed directly into the container of concentrate during inhalation. Of course, you can also use a dab tool to pull out a specific portion size.
This remains one of the cleanest, simplest ways to dab. Plus, unlike your dab rig, this electric dab straw travels well.
Performance

The Vape Experience
For a small, lightweight electric dab straw, the EVRI delivers a huge payoff on the vape front. Thanks to the three heat settings and the ceramic tip with instant heat coil center, the inhales are smooth and the cloud impressive.
I never once experienced an inhale from the concentrate side of the EVRI that had burnt through the terpene profile. We tried a homemade extraction, store-bought shatter, and even straight hash with the electric dab straw attachment. Every time, my partner and I got the nuanced flavors we were expecting.
I will admit getting started after the EVRI unboxing was a bit confusing. There weren’t any instructions included in the box. With so many similar-looking attachments it wasn’t straightforward to find the right info online. If I can give any feedback to the Dip Devices team, it is to include a starter guide in the box or, at the very least, a QR code.
Versatility
It is pretty incredible to hop from a flower vaporizer to a concentrated one and back again without having to find another device or, worse, clean out the chamber. Unlike the PAX or the DaVinci, the two other multi-function vaporizers I have tried, the EVRI is a simple swap that happens at the click of an attachment. Just pop off the battery from the first attachment and click on the next.
There are at least seven different attachments available. While we received the concentrate and 510/flower attachments, I think the EVRI shines with the concentrate attachments. The pull is impressive, the hits are always smooth, and the actual dabbing process is seamless.
The flower attachment I tried was entirely functional. However, the chamber a bit small. I find myself turning to other devices over the EVRI for flower.
Battery Life
Of all the vaporizers I’ve reviewed over the last few years, the EVRI has one of the longest lasting batteries. It charges quickly, in about an hour, and will last for almost a week of daily use. The more complicated (and typically expensive) devices have a much shorter battery life, which is frustrating as they often don’t even last a full day of use. But with the EVRI, I’ve used the concentrate attachment for almost a week straight without charging it back up again. For the lazy stoner, this is a godsend.
Affordability
Even if the attachments are designed to be disposable (more on that later, as it’s not my favorite element), the entire Dip Device starter pack is still ultra-affordable. At only $69.99, this makes it one of the cheapest options on the market, beyond a totally disposable 510 cartridge.
How to Clean Your Dab Pen?
After about a week of use, this was my number one question. It was getting clogged up, and even after looking at it, it was apparent that the EVRI needed some attention. I couldn’t find anything online about our specific EVRI dab attachment, as the videos I could find seemed to used older models.
I contacted a Dip Device Rep for assistance, and he was kind enough to share the following video. This has worked for the last few weeks, although it’s a bit finicky.
After deeper digging, I came across an explanation from Dip Devices about why it’s so hard to clean. This is because the attachments are disposable, negating the cleaning element all together.
“Since the EVRI has a modular design and inexpensive attachments, each attachment is a whole piece that’s meant to be replaced instead of cleaned. At Dip Devices we have engineered each attachment to last as long as possible, and the design allows for recycling the materials. Attachments are meant to be replaced after 1-2 months of use, but your dabbing habits will dictate how long an attachment will last for you.”
Although I loved the EVRI dab experience, I’m not convinced that throwing out the attachment every six to eight weeks is a good thing. Yes, the attachments are very affordable ($19.99 each), but realistically I tend to lean towards devices that aren’t disposable. Isn’t that the point of a non-disposable vape pen or electric dab straw?
Compared: EVRI vs. DaVinci MIQRO vs. Iven
How does the EVRI by Dip Devices compare against similar portable vaporizers on the market today? There are dozens, possibly even hundreds, but here is a side-by-side comparison with DaVinci MIQRO and Iven. The former is a higher-end model from one of the OG brands and the latter is a simple and affordable vaporizer we’ve reviewed before (You can check that review out here).
I think the EVRI Dip Device, priced at $69.99, is ideal for anyone on a budget who wants versatility in their vaping experience. Realistically, unless you are prepared to spend more (and I’m talking a lot more) on a fancier vaporizer, most of the time, they don’t really work across different forms of cannabis. EVRI is pretty unique in this area.
With three heat settings and a magnetic battery system, it’s adaptable but not as focused on dry herb vaping as other devices. While I still don’t like the disposable nature of the attachments, I still find myself turning to the dab attachment again and again.other end of the spectrum.
